Mechanical Patent Attorney

Drafting and prosecuting patent applications, managing IP portfolios, counseling clients, performing patentability and clearance opinions, with exposure to domestic and international prosecution, along with client contact and management. Qualified applicants are strongly encouraged to apply. Demonstrated ability to deal with a variety of technologies and a strong mechanical engineering background. At least 3 years of law firm patent prosecution experience. JD, NJ State Bar or ability to gain admission to NJ, USPTO Bar. Engineering experience is a plus. Litigation experience a plus. This is a unique opportunity to join an established and growing practice based in New Jersey and work with experienced patent attorneys. The position is a full-time position based in our NJ office. Portable business is a plus, but not required.
