Mechanical Master Tradesman Apprentice

Mechancial Master Tradesman Apprentice role in Libbey's Maintenance department. An entry-level maintenance apprenticeship combining paid on-the-job training with classroom instruction to become an industrial mechanic/master tradesman, totaling 8000 hours of training. Starts at $29.88/hour with increases after every 1,000 hours, full-time schedule Monday–Friday 6:00am–2:00pm; evening school coursework coordinated with Owens Community College; includes paid time for classes and benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, PTO, 401(k) with company match, HSA, tuition assistance). Responsibilities span pipefitting, carpentry, plumbing, metal fabrication, welding, painting, equipment installation and service, safety compliance, and collaboration with vendors and other plant staff. Eligibility includes being 18+, passing DAT mechanical aptitude, and providing trade-school recommendations and assessments; pre-employment tests and fitness requirements apply. Potential to train toward an industrial mechanic/master tradesman through hands-on work and formal education.
