Job Summary
Maintenance I role focused on troubleshooting equipment, performing scheduled maintenance and repairs, supporting installation and plant upgrades, and assisting in upgrades to improve production and efficiency. Requires strong mechanical skills, knowledge of hydraulics/pneumatics, welding, pipe fitting, pumps, and reading schematics/blueprints; experience with handheld tools, basic math, and ERP/MS Office. Day shift based at Fletcher Surface in Centerville, MO, with potential relocation within the Viburnum Trend area; duties include hazardous waste inspections, safe operations per EHS policies, and collaboration with Level II/III maintenance staff. Education/experience options include a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred) or completion of industrial/auto tech training with related experience; valid driver's license required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must pass aptitude test and enter maintenance training program
- If no high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an industrial maintenance course or auto technology course and one year of auto repair or industrial maintenance experience
- If no technical training, minimum two years of technical experience
- Valid driver's license
