Job Summary
Mechanical Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, rebuild and document planned and unplanned maintenance activities of production equipment. Responsibilities include diagnosing downtime using schematics and manuals, performing preventive and corrective maintenance on manual, semi-automatic and automatic production equipment, maintaining safety compliance, keeping spares inventory, and supporting facility repairs as needed. Requires collaboration with team, attention to safety, ability to work with validated equipment in a cGMP environment, and adherence to FDA/DEA/EPA/Hazmat/OSHA regulations. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and/or 3+ years experience required; proficiency with pneumatic systems, PLCs, servo-driven equipment, and good communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and/or equivalent experience required.
- 3+ years of experience in equipment and machine maintenance required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Working knowledge of pneumatic and vacuum systems, electrical wiring, and PLCs.
- Experience with servo driven equipment
- Proficient written, verbal and oral English communication skills.
- Experience with 503B regulatory requirements, cGMP standards, and USP guidelines is a plus!
- Physically able to stand,stoop, bend, climb or sit for extended periods; able to lift up to 50 pounds.
