Job Summary
Maintenance Technician I performs emergency and preventative repairs to plant machinery and infrastructure; conducts advanced troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; responds to production supervisor during emergencies; utilizes manpower and equipment to complete repairs promptly; maintains cleanliness of maintenance areas; adheres to Lock-out/Tag-out procedures and reports unsafe conditions; manages inventory and provides replenishment information; uses Work Order system for entry and completion of work orders; reports to Maintenance Leadman or Production Supervisor during off-shifts; supports safety and environmental management systems; flexible hours including weekends and holidays, with possible overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Technology Diploma, Trade Certification or minimum 1 year of experience as Industrial Mechanic and/or Electrician
