Job Summary
Carry out general repairs, investigate faults, and complete scheduled maintenance to ensure the reliability of water recycling assets and mechanical plant. Perform planned and reactive maintenance on equipment installed at water treatment works, including pumps, gearboxes, and mechanical control systems. Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain assets while protecting the environment and communities served. Full-time 37-hour schedule with flexibility for part-time work, including some weekends. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in mechanical engineering required.
Required Qualifications
- NVQ level 2 or 3 (mechanical/engineering) qualification (or equivalent)
- completed a relevant apprenticeship
- full UK driving licence
