Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor

Oversee installation, repair, and upkeep of mechanical systems while leading the maintenance team to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and compliance. Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and optimize machinery performance to minimize downtime. Supervise staff activities, schedule repairs, conduct hazard inspections, and develop training programs to enhance equipment reliability. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, coordinate emergency repairs, and document all maintenance activities and technical reports. Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, environmental regulations, and Lockout/Tagout procedures. Assist in procuring parts and materials, and collaborate with other departments to minimize operational disruptions. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent journeyman status with five years of experience, including supervisory duties in a union environment. On-call rotation and weekend work are required.
