Job Summary
Evaluate, repair, and replace materials, products, and components for conformance to specifications. Perform preventative maintenance procedures, conduct troubleshooting on facility equipment, and operate machines in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures. Execute welding, pipe system modifications, and millwright tasks including alignment and bearing maintenance. Document all work on Preventative Maintenance and Down Day work orders, maintain accurate records in Maximo, and complete daily paperwork. Collaborate with operations to ensure equipment testing and safety, utilizing predictive technologies to improve operations. Work scheduled shifts and overtime as assigned while adhering to all safety procedures and continuing training requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3 or more years of demonstrated experience in an Industrial Maintenance Position
- Certificate or higher degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field
- 1 or more years of Maintenance experience in an Industrial setting
- 5 or more years of experience in an Operator role at GAF
- Actively pursuing Certificate or higher degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without need for employer sponsored visa (work permit)
