Mechanical Machine Design Engineer – Rapid Prototyping & Automation

Mechanical Machine Design Engineer to invent and develop automated beverage and food dispensing equipment. The role emphasizes hands-on building, rapid prototyping, and designing elegant low-tech mechanical systems with 3D CAD in SolidWorks. Responsibilities include creating 3D CAD models, designing sheet metal and machined components, building and testing prototypes, 3D printing components, troubleshooting and iterating designs, and collaborating closely with electrical/firmware/software engineers to transition prototypes into production-ready systems. The position is onsite in Cape Coral, FL, with no remote work available. Desirable experience includes Arduino/Raspberry Pi/microcontroller programming, pneumatics and fluid systems, and familiarity with beverage/foodservice automation. The candidate should enjoy solving difficult mechanical problems and rapidly moving concepts from concept to prototype to testing.
