Mechanical Lead - Technical Coolant Loop

Job Summary
Own mechanical design and engineering execution for facility and data hall liquid cooling infrastructure packages, including headers, spools, valve trains, filtration, and leak detection integration. Convert customer requirements into buildable designs with clearly bounded scope, driving design maturity through reviews, sign-offs, and technical decision-making. Lead system definition for header spools and connection components while providing guidance on failure investigations and root cause analyses. Create and release required documentation, including P&IDs, interface drawings, and BOM readiness inputs, ensuring alignment with manufacturing, service, and compliance standards. Coordinate external engineering support for specialized skills and partner with supply chain to support component selection and cost-down for major hardware packages.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- A PEng registration that is current and in good standing
- Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience leading mechanical design deliverables end to end for industrial fluid & HVAC systems
- Deep working knowledge of UL/ CSA Safety Standards, ASME Piping Codes, Seismic Standards & Installation Codes
- Demonstratable experience using Solidworks, Autodesk Revit BIM
- Comfortable coordinating external engineering resources when specialized tools/standards are required
- Ability to prioritize and pivot effectively when new information arises under time pressure while maintaining system safety, quality, and reliability expectations
- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Successful candidates for this position will be required to undergo background checks including criminal records check and education
