Mechanical Integrity Engineer

Job Summary
Perform field and office duties as part of Pond & Company's Mechanical Integrity team, including field evaluations of storage tanks, piping systems, and pressure vessels across industrial, oil & gas, and DoD settings; travel up to 50% (domestic and international); collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure on-schedule and within-budget project delivery; leverage CAD for design and analysis; pursue API certification and NDE/NDT and AWS/CWI coatings-inspection credentials; participate in in-person interviews and onboarding; contribute to energy-sector projects with hands-on field work and office support.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree
- 5+ years engineering experience
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%
- Experience with field evaluations of storage tanks, piping systems, and pressure vessels
Desired Qualifications
- API certification preferred
- NDE/NDT experience and certifications preferred
- AWS and/or Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certifications preferred
- Coating Inspection experience and certifications preferred
- Experience with Fitness for Service (FFS) evaluations
- Proficient with CAD
- 5+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Engineering Degree required
