Job Summary
Conduct detailed inspections on components, parts, assemblies, and materials to verify compliance with military, aerospace, and customer specifications. Utilize inspection measuring instruments, CMM, comparators, and precision tools to measure product dimensions and interpret drawings, process procedures, and quality documents. Perform First Article Inspections, Product Verification, and Lot Testing while maintaining records and reviewing FAI reports for government and aftermarket customer acceptance. Submit products for source inspection and identify defects to facilitate efficient disposition, including participation in Material Review Board reviews. Ensure product integrity meets organizational and customer requirements while communicating regularly with management to meet contract deadlines. Maintain a professional work environment, support safety standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality department.
Required Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Microsoft Excel, Internet Explorer, and Microsoft Outlook
- Five plus years working experience in an aerospace / similar inspection environment
- Knowledge and understanding of FAR, DFARS, DLA, DCMA regulations and clauses
- ISO/AS Certification Awareness
- ASQ Certification Quality Certification
