Job Summary
Conduct visual and physical inspections of semi-completed parts in the machine shop to verify assemblies against predetermined specifications, drawings, and standards. Identify workmanship or process damage, communicate setup corrections to machinists, and determine acceptance, rejection, or rework requirements based on blueprints, engineering change notices, and military standards. Perform First Article Inspection and interpret GD&T to define inspection needs, entering data into software tools while proactively reporting errors and systemic trends. Requires 3+ years of mechanical inspection experience, proficiency with CMM, calipers, and thread gages, plus knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102. 1st shift starting 6:30 AM with hourly pay ranging from $29.70 to $37.90.
Required Qualifications

- Minimum of years 3 experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment required

Desired Qualifications
- Experience with CMM inspection is ideal
- Experience in Mechanical inspection and in First Article Inspection
- Familiarity with AS9100 standards
- Familiar with AS9102 First Article Requirements
- Experience with CMM
