Job Summary
In this role, you will perform and direct design of ductwork, piping, and equipment selection for HVAC systems on assigned projects, potentially under the supervision of a licensed engineer. Responsibilities include calculating heating and cooling loads, preparing Revit/BIM models, specifying mechanical equipment like boilers and chillers, and reviewing shop drawings for compliance. To succeed, candidates should have a Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering, a minimum of 6 years of related experience, and effective communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering required
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in computer applications for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit, Trane Trace or Trane 3D Plus) required
Desired Qualifications
- Current PE in the United States preferred
- LEED accreditation preferred
