Job Summary
Senior Mechanical Engineer leading the design-build HVAC system architecture and technical stewardship across healthcare, commercial, and industrial projects. Responsibilities include system architecture & design, design-build integration, oversight of engineering calculations and construction documents, mentorship of junior engineers, stakeholder management with clients and contractors, evaluating and integrating energy efficiency technologies, and project oversight from feasibility through commissioning. Requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, PE license, 7–10 years experience in HVAC design, proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD, and knowledge of ASHRAE standards and related codes. Preferred experience in OSHPD/Healthcare, LEED AP, Net Zero energy modeling, and familiarity with Oregon/Washington codes; leadership experience in a design-build environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from an ABET-accredited institution
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) License
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in HVAC design within the AEC industry
- Software Proficiency: Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Trace 700, HAP
- Technical Mastery: knowledge of IBC, IMC, and ASHRAE standards
