Job Summary
Lead the Wheatland, Alberta maintenance department by overseeing ~9 employees, planning construction methods, and supervising daily operations to ensure equipment uptime. Enforce safety protocols across all departmental activities, conduct Gemba walks, and facilitate continuous improvement through reflection boards and meetings. Manage the RPM program by evaluating rate advances, prioritizing scheduled work, and resolving operational issues while coaching staff on performance and standards. Accountable for productivity, material usage, and ensuring all completed work meets specifications and budget constraints. Requires a Journeyman Millwright ticket and strong leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman Millwright, Mechanical, or equivalent ticket
