Job Summary
Conduct mechanical installation and quality control on solar fields, including string line, laser, pile shakeout, tracker installation, and module staging. Perform technical aptitude assistance and train others on complete mechanical scopes. Execute precise tasks such as torque tube, drive line, and motor installation while maintaining safety, quality, and attendance standards. Work outdoors in all weather conditions, standing or walking for extended periods, and document field decisions via Tier Boards and production tracking. Collaborate with the team to support construction of renewable assets across North America.
Required Qualifications
- Able to lift 50+ pounds
- Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits
- Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
- Able to independently train others on at least 1 complete Mechanical Scope (Piles, Tracker, Mods)
- Meets expectations with timely documentation of field decisions and reporting, such as Tier Boards and Production Tracking
- GED or equivalent education
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working on construction projects preferred
