Job Summary
The Mechanical Fitter is responsible for disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of Subsea equipment, using power tools, performing routine maintenance, and assisting with pressure testing. The role includes overseeing lifting equipment for safety compliance and maintaining a clean workspace. Training other personnel and adhering to HSE and Quality Policies are vital responsibilities. Candidates must have a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in the oilfield, with a minimum of 5 years in a workshop environment.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years experience in the oilfield industry
- At least 5 years in a workshop environment
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Good written and communication skills in English
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- High adaptability to changes and working under pressure
