Job Summary
Carry out mechanical fitting, assembly, and installation work while supervising lifting operations in line with approved lift plans and site procedures. Read and interpret engineering drawings, perform maintenance, repairs, and fault finding, and coordinate with crane operators, slingers, and signallers. Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations and complete relevant documentation and inspection records. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety. Valid Lift Supervisor certification is essential, along with experience in industrial, manufacturing, or engineering environments. Immediate starts available for this long-term project in North Wales.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter in an industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or construction environment
- Valid Lift Supervisor certification (CPCS, NPORS, or equivalent)
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of mechanical installation and fitting techniques
- Excellent health and safety awareness
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in large-scale manufacturing facilities
- Additional lifting, rigging, or mechanical qualifications
- IPAF, MEWP, or other relevant site certifications
