Job Summary
Ensure plant and equipment is maintained at a high level of availability by performing repairs and maintenance, both planned and unplanned, on mechanical equipment in the Process Plant, Bore fields, Site Infrastructure, and Village. Liaise with Supply personnel on mechanical purchasing and inventory matters while cooperating with Maintenance and Processing Shift Supervisors to ensure optimum equipment performance. When supervision is unavailable, complete new tasks according to the Maintenance Priority System and provide guidance to Maintenance Contractors working in the plant. Maintain Mechanical Workshop facilities and equipment in good working order to achieve Maintenance cost targets. Operate on an 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical Trade Qualification
- Fitter Driver's License (C Class, Manual Car)
- minimum HR (Manual) Driver's Licence
- Demonstrated experience in the operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment commonly installed in process plants, in particular to gold plants
- Welding and hydraulic experience
- Good communication skills
- computer literacy
- Working knowledge of Pronto (or similar)
- 8 days on / 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth
- Based at our Leonora operation
