Job Summary
Respond to sortation system downtime to maximize throughput by repairing, replacing damaged equipment, and troubleshooting process failures. Perform plant and equipment overhauls, conduct root cause analysis to eliminate recurring problems, and implement operating procedures with engineers. Record all maintenance activities on the IT system and contribute to continuous improvement projects. Complete Engineering Job Work Permits while adhering to health and safety standards. Build effective relationships with colleagues across all levels to align with business goals.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience working in a fast paced heavy mechanical facility
- QQI Advanced Certificate Craft - Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitting
- Full clean drivers license
- Flexibility with regard to working days and hours
- Flexible to travel throughout the Network
- Plans effectively to deliver on business objectives
- Leads by example; supports colleagues and stakeholder to overcome challenges
- Approachable, helpful, and relates well to people, all of the time. Shows respect, care and honesty with others
- Solves problems and takes action to protect the delivery of business objectives and other performance indicators
