Mechanical Field Coordinator - Energy Construction

Job Summary

Provide field support and supervise subcontractor operations while planning, scheduling, and coordinating work groups on the jobsite. Review and analyze historical data to prepare bids, complete plan and specification reviews, and perform material and quantity takeoffs. Assist engineers in interpreting drawings, performing quantity calculations, and supporting field surveying and work layout. Compile daily labor timesheets, prepare purchase orders, maintain schedules, and enter data into the job cost system. Participate in jobsite safety reviews and toolbox meetings to ensure compliance. Assist in generating change orders and as-built data for project management review.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years' construction field experience with a focus on mechanical works
  • Work experience in engineering and leading engineers
  • Undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to travel and relocate as needed
  • Ability to read, analyze and identify discrepancies on engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents
  • Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environment
  • Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
  • Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
  • Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Work overtime and weekends as required
