Mechanical Engineering Technician - OCU - Technical - 3x12 PM Shift

Mechanical Engineering Technician role focused on building, repairing, and preparing test articles and associated equipment for performance and reliability testing on engines, components, and systems. Responsibilities include configuring and operating data acquisition systems, writing analysis programs, calibrating and maintaining test cells and rigs, performing troubleshooting and repairs, creating sketches and fabricating piping/brackets from drawings, installing instrumentation, generating test plans and reports, and coordinating with engineering on equipment updates and supplier evaluations. Requires collaboration with apprentices, technicians, customers, and suppliers, adherence to safety and quality procedures, and participation in improvements and audits. Proficiency with tools such as Calterm, Asset, Cyflex, and experience with data analysis and test-data interpretation are expected, along with the ability to document findings and manage electronic files.
