Job Summary
Mechanical Engineering Operations Manager responsible for operations and budget management, service delivery management, project management, client relationship management, health and safety, and emergency preparedness and business continuity for an assigned portfolio. Leadership includes recruiting, mentoring, coaching, performance management, and compensation considerations. Manages a portfolio’s service delivery, ensures KPI objectives are met, supports HVAC account teams, oversees implementation of service delivery programs, collaborates with stakeholders to optimize value, and maintains open communication with clients. Oversees risk management, incident response, and business continuity planning; ensures regulatory compliance and procurement/supply chain coordination; drives continuous improvement and cost-efficiency across the portfolio. The role requires regular on-call coverage and strong communication, negotiation, and project-delivery skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years HVAC experience
- Community college diploma, Trade School, or technical bachelor’s degree
- Strong leadership and team management experience
- Budget management capabilities
- Proven project and service delivery management experience
- Client relationship management experience
- Regulatory compliance knowledge
- Health, safety and security knowledge
