Mechanical Engineering Internship – Digital Prototyping & Innovation (6–12 Months)

Job Summary
Design and develop CAD models and assemblies while preparing and operating industrial 3D printing systems. Perform 3D scanning and reverse engineering tasks to support rapid prototyping projects and create technical visualizations for demonstrations. Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and manufacturing teams on innovation and product development projects ranging from early-stage concepts to production-critical solutions. Document engineering solutions and best practices while solving manufacturing-related challenges. This 6–12 month internship offers exposure to advanced additive manufacturing, VR visualization, and patent-driven development within Sika's Digital Prototyping team.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Basic CAD knowledge (any major CAD platform)
- Good communication skills in an international environment
