Job Summary
Mechanical Engineering Intern role focused on developing and applying engineering design methods, CAD tools, and analysis for flight-simulator development. Primary responsibilities include parametric CAD modeling, drawing creation and interpretation of customer specifications, coordinating with suppliers and manufacturing, and supporting small-to-medium scale programs. Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, have strong oral and written communication skills, and be eligible for a DoD security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required. The position is office and manufacturing‐facility based with potential overtime and CONUS travel. This internship emphasizes teamwork, problem-solving, and applying modern engineering concepts through ongoing learning and development.
Required Qualifications
- Working toward Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree
- Must be able to obtain DoD Personal Security Clearance
- Only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role
