Job Summary
Direct the HVAC/cooling/mechanical equipment design for new data centers and expansions; lead and manage the design team of engineers and technicians; oversee conceptual designs, equipment selection input, and review of drawings; coordinate with trades and stakeholders; support commissioning, startup, testing, and turnover; develop operating standards and guidelines; track project objectives, timelines, and budgets; prepare engineering proposals and facilitate client meetings to meet project objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- 5-10+ years experience
- Experience with hyperscale or colo data center design
- Experience with managing an engineering design team
- Experience with Revit MEP projects, AutoCAD MEP, BIM a plus
- Must have worked at an Engineering Consulting firm a MUST
