Job Summary
Manage project execution for nuclear power plant modifications, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and directing resources across design, controls, and scheduling. Take ownership of project performance, including safety, schedule, budget, reporting, and client experience throughout the lifecycle. Identify and control construction risks, recognize changes, and lead efforts to ensure projects complete safely, on time, and within budget. Prepare technical reports and studies meeting Sargent & Lundy formats while analyzing issues to improve results. Develop and maintain positive relationships with client task engineers and stakeholders. No U.S. work authorization sponsorship available.
Required Qualifications
- BS or MS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited program with academic coursework in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfers
- Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams
- 10+ years of experience in a technical field (engineering, construction, planning, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience with serving as a firm/client liaison in a support or lead role
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative team setting
Desired Qualifications
- Construction management or a management/business degree
- Engineering design experience
- PMP Certification
- MBA
- Experience writing proposals
