Job Summary
Design plumbing and fire-fighting systems, including water supply, drainage, fire suppression, and alarm systems, while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Apply in-depth knowledge of local and international building codes to deliver successful project outcomes using AutoCAD and Revit. Lead design efforts for projects similar in function, size, and scope, adapting to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment. Occasional travel required for site visits and client meetings. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of experience in plumbing and fire-fighting design engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
- Strong knowledge of plumbing and fire protection systems, including water supply, drainage, fire suppression, and alarm systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software
- In-depth understanding of local and international building codes and standards
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements
- Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits or client meetings
- 10-15 years of experience with projects similar in function, size and scope to the description above
- All newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment
