Job Summary
Part of Westinghouse’s Materials & Aging Management team as an Engineer I in Cranberry Township. Responsible for developing inspection acceptance criteria for nuclear power plant components, applying the ASME Code to the design and analysis of reactor vessel internals using Finite Element Analysis, qualifying replacement reactor internals components for plant operation, and evaluating observed degradation to permit continued operation; supports larger projects that develop industry guidance for safe long-term operation of reactor vessel internals components.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- 0-2 years of applicable experience
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
