Job Summary
Maintain equipment on cross-functional teams to reduce downtime and investigate failures to diagnose faulty operation. Provide technical guidance to improve the efficiency, reliability, and safety of operating equipment through mechanical engineering practice. Lead root cause failure analysis, develop corrective actions, and track results while designing and modifying equipment to optimize plant performance. Analyze plant data to identify maintenance focus areas, downtime trends by department and machine center, and opportunities to lower costs and reduce waste. Assist in planning maintenance activities and drive continuous improvement across the site.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in the field of Engineering
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environment
- Effective working knowledge of boilers
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD systems
- Ability to read mechanical, structural, and electrical drawings
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and solve problems independently
- Experience driving sustainable long-term improvements
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Drug-Free Workplace (DFW)
