Job Summary
Lead maintenance and repair of dewatering equipment and ancillaries on sewage and clean water treatment facilities by carrying out complex asset overhauls, replacements, and mechanical repairs to pumps, pipework, and valves. Perform inspections, services, and repairs on customer assets while installing pipework in plastic, stainless steel, and mild steel. Complete test reports, installation certificates, customer feedback, permits, and safety paperwork alongside on-site teams. Provide standby cover and overtime as required, working away from home to ensure energy-efficient operation, minimize downtime, and reduce raw material usage through thorough first-time fixes.
Required Qualifications
- NVQ or a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering maintenance at Level 3
- Full UK Driving License
- Hands on engineering maintenance experience
