Job Summary

Conduct pipe stress analysis using Caesar II and prepare advanced specifications detailing performance requirements, design codes, and vendor drawing requirements. Visit vendor facilities and jobsites to inspect equipment and evaluate project conditions for compliance. Mentor less experienced engineers, supervise design personnel, and participate in sales presentations. Determine client requirements to develop specifications, drawings, and instructions while maintaining project schedules and budgets. Prepare inquiry and purchase requisitions, review vendor drawings for major components, and actively develop focus on least cost, safe design. Meet company quality assurance requirements and support field assignments as required. Requires 11-15 years of experience in oil, gas, or petrochemicals with a Professional Engineering license.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen
  • 11-15 years of experience related to oil, gas, or petrochemicals
  • Professional Engineering license
  • BS in Engineering (or higher) from ABET accredited Institution
  • Proficiency in pipe stress analysis using Caesar II
  • Must be able to visit vendor facilities to inspect equipment for compliance with requirements
  • Must be able to visit jobsites to evaluate site, project requirements, and conditions
  • Must be able to mentor less experienced engineers, designers, and drafters
  • Must be able to supervise design personnel and other staff specialists
  • Must be able to participate in sales presentations
  • Must be able to determine client requirements and develop specifications, drawings, instructions, and related documents
  • Must be able to prepare inquiry and purchase requisitions
  • Must be able to prepare bid tabulations on simple purchases
  • Must be able to review vendor drawings for major components
  • Must be able to develop a focus on least cost, safe design
  • Must be able to actively maintain the schedule and budget of assigned projects
  • Must be able to meet company quality assurance requirements
  • Must be able to support field assignments as required
  • Must verify their identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form after acceptance of a formal TCE offer letter
