Job Summary
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop mechanical systems, components, and products. Conduct analysis and calculations to ensure compliance with design specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. Generate detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and models using CAD software. Perform simulations, testing, and validation of mechanical designs to ensure performance and reliability. Participate in prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve design issues. Assist in the evaluation and selection of materials, components, and suppliers. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and project teams. Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and quality assurance protocols. Manage deadlines and adapt to changing project requirements while prioritizing tasks. Required Qualifications
- at least 2 years of professional experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering
- Proficiency in CAD software (such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for 3D modeling and drafting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
- Experience in conducting engineering calculations, simulations, and analysis
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations

- Demonstrated rapid prototyping and iterative product development experience
- Experience developing mechanical structures (weldments, sheet metal, extrusions, CNC components, materials selection) for industrial products
- Experience developing actuated kinematic systems from concept to working prototype
- Ability to perform tolerance analysis as required to ensure intended assembly performance
- Hands-on experience with light fabrication, assembling, and maintaining complex mechanical systems
- Experience managing projects and interfacing with technical customers
