Job Summary
Work directly with Sales and Manufacturing to determine priorities and develop production schedules. Follow customer specifications to complete product designs and advise Mechanical Designers on creating and modifying 3D models and 2D drawings in Inventor. Select proper components, generate BOM's, and provide calculations for tanks and pressure piping. Work with vendors to introduce new products and participate in production inspections while maintaining the ASME Quality Control System. This role supports Vapor Power International's design and manufacturing of steam generators and thermal fluid heaters for markets ranging from food processing to petrochemical applications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent technical background
- Strong background using Inventor for 3D modeling
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Steel toe shoes
- Earplugs
- Safety glasses
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience with capital equipment is preferred
- A working knowledge of ASME Pressure Vessel Codes, boilers, heat transfer equipment, or auxiliary boiler room equipment is preferred
