Mechanical Engineer - Thermal R&D

Conduct thermal R&D for military, governmental, and commercial customers by developing single-phase pumped loops, vapor compression cycles, and radiation thermal management systems for hypersonic vehicles and laser weapons. Lead projects from conception to production through product ideation, research, laboratory builds, experimental testing, and design for manufacture. Perform analytical calculations, computational simulations using CFD and FEA, and write proposals for new technologies. Interface directly with customers and utilize advanced techniques like microchannel cooling and additive manufacturing.
