Job Summary

Design and develop thermal management systems for aerospace/military and commercial customers, including components such as coldplates, heat exchangers, and thermal energy storage devices. Lead projects from conception to production with tasks spanning product ideation, laboratory/prototype builds, experimental testing, and design for manufacture. Perform analytical calculations, CFD/FEA modeling (ANSYS/FLUENT), laboratory build and testing, and direct customer interfacing. Work with advanced cooling technologies such as microchannel cooling, 3D cooling passages, membrane-enhanced cooling, and oscillating heat pipes; contribute to proposal writing and flight a path from idea to implementation.

Required Qualifications

  • BSME or MSME
  • US Citizenship required due to ITAR regulations
  • GPA not less than 3.3 for all degrees
  • Solid understanding of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics
  • Experience with data acquisition systems (LabVIEW preferred) including temperature, pressure, flow, and other sensors
  • CFD/FEA modeling (ANSYS/FLUENT) experience is a plus
