Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary
Design new HVAC systems and support upgrades or replacements of existing systems, including performing engineering calculations for equipment sizing, ductwork, and ventilation. Develop construction drawings and technical specifications while defining project scope, timelines, and fee structures. Review submittals to ensure compliance with design intent and collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle from concept through construction and closeout. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and an active PE license, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BlueBeam. Monday-Thursday 9AM-6PM, Friday 8AM-12PM, onsite in Wilmington, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience with HVAC system design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BlueBeam
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, codes, and construction practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with stakeholders
