Mechanical Engineer Supervisor

Lead a mechanical engineering team focused on designing, analyzing, and maintaining mechanical components and systems for NDT equipment and automated delivery systems. Oversee prototypes, CAD design, design reviews, meet specified requirements and standards, and communicate designs to stakeholders. Implement designs within Zetec’s product development process, including detailed design documentation, BOM, costs, and hand-off to production. Ensure designs meet safety, environmental, and RoHS standards; drive design for cost, manufacturability, and assembly; generate test reports; interface with customers and other departments; stay current with industry codes and QA manuals; lead design reviews, mentor engineers, and coordinate schedules. Occasional extended hours and travel up to 5% may be required. Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making abilities; supervisory responsibilities over the design team.
