Job Summary
Conduct mechanical design for MSG/APT product families, collaborating with local and global teams to satisfy customer specifications. Perform design verification using analytical and experimental methods, complete documentation, and execute launch items for production. Participate in development testing, engineering analysis, and qualification testing while maintaining product drawings and specifications in internal systems. Collaborate with personnel on failure analysis investigations and interact with customers to solicit requirements, schedules, and budgets. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to manage multiple competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
- Knowledge of basic electrical circuits, microelectronic assembly, statistical methods, process control fundamentals and product test processes
