Job Summary
Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, engineering scopes, and design documentation for mechanical and piping projects. Perform design calculations and analysis, develop design concepts, and provide inputs to 3D modeling and 2D drawings. Liaise with equipment vendors to obtain necessary inputs for engineering design while adhering to project budgets and schedules. This Mechanical Engineer role reports to the Mechanical Team Lead within the Minerals Processing Brownfields team in Adelaide, focusing on delivering solutions from concept through detailed design for clients in the energy and minerals industries.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a design/consultancy environment
- Sound knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices
- Ability to work independently and seek guidance where necessary
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Clear and concise technical writing skills
