Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer in Perth, WA with hybrid working flexibility. Responsible for preparing engineering plans, layouts and designs with accurate calculations and specifications; providing drafting and estimating support; reviewing designs and materials for specification compliance; generating technical documentation and failure analyses; collaborating with discipline engineers and liaising with suppliers, clients, consultants and commissioning teams through design, installation and construction phases; monitoring design effectiveness to meet project KPIs and budgets; contributing to progress reports and resource planning; ensuring proper design checks and change management to maintain design integrity; assisting with estimating, final design take-offs, and basic document control. Requires a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, 3+ years in engineering consultancy across mineral projects, strong design software skills, piping design knowledge, and professional registrations such as RPEQ/CPEng/P.Eng; and a background in heavy industry/minerals.
