Job Summary
Mechanical Engineer responsible for designing mechanical systems for new facilities, additions, and renovations; provide engineering design, evaluation, and planning of HVAC systems; lead project teams, coordinate with other disciplines, prepare construction drawings and specifications, conduct code-compliance research, perform load and energy calculations, and support construction administration through site visits, submittal reviews, and RFIs; travel is required and responsibilities include mentoring junior engineers and engaging with clients throughout project interviews and development of client relations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Minimum 4-8 years of design experience in HVAC systems
- Knowledge of codes, standards, and design guidelines
- Ability to travel
- Proficiency in Revit
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
