Job Summary
Lead and coordinate mechanical engineering and drafting resources across multiple EPC projects, preparing and reviewing designs, specifications, and technical documentation. Support tender development through design input and technical evaluation, while managing procurement for mechanical equipment and materials. Liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers, then support construction, commissioning, and testing activities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and coach, mentor, and support the professional development of engineering and drafting personnel. This role reports to the Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer within the EPC business, delivering complex energy infrastructure solutions for mining, water, agriculture, and commercial sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering qualification
- Experience delivering mechanical engineering solutions within EPC, industrial or energy infrastructure environments
- Proven ability to coordinate projects and lead multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design, procurement, construction and commissioning processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving, organisational and project management skills
- Valid working rights in Australia
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical assessment
- Willingness to complete a national police check
