Job Summary
Translate conceptual designs into detailed engineering packages meeting functional and contractual specifications for secured orders. Support sales stages by preparing tender documents and liaise with Electrical Design Engineers, CAD draughtsmen, and architects to coordinate design development. Conduct site surveys as required and provide support to Project Managers during installation, commissioning, and testing phases. Participate in HAZOP and risk assessment studies while ensuring adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality management policies.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering design software
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Project
- Understanding of engineering design processes and project management principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Effective planning, prioritisation, and workload management capabilities
