Job Summary
Design and develop mechanical components and systems for manufacturing equipment; create detailed mechanical designs, including 3D models and 2D drawings; manage and execute engineering projects with estimating, scheduling, and documentation; collaborate with electrical engineers, production personnel, and quality assurance teams; identify and implement improvements to mechanical designs and manufacturing processes; diagnose and resolve mechanical issues on manufacturing equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in mechanical design and engineering
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, welding, fabrication)
- Experience with GD&T and tolerance analysis
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
