Mechanical Engineer - Plumbing

Job Summary
Assist in client contact, attend meetings, and analyze data to plan and design complex plumbing projects for aerospace, defense, and federal markets. Prepare design computations, perform site investigations, and execute advanced CADD and Revit drafting to produce non-routine final drawings. Mentor drafters and junior designers while providing technical support, ensuring code compliance, and coordinating drawings with other disciplines. Perform fixture unit calculations, size water and sanitary systems, and layout storm and gas systems for domestic and industrial applications. Verify drawings against company standards and cross-check with other disciplines to maintain quality.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school/GED diploma and 7 years experience
- Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year accredited college or technical school and minimum 6 years related experience
- Bachelor's degree and 4 years experience
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
