Job Summary

You will provide preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on plant machinery within required timescales, operate to high health & safety standards, and support the PCM casting cell and technical engineering departments as well as site-wide engineering functions. Responsibilities include mould change support with precision, mechanical improvements across the plant, assisting with equipment breakdowns, supporting engineering functions, contributing to plant engineering projects, ensuring interventions meet standards, and completing on-site TPM logging. Essential skills and experience include a mechanical qualification (useful but not essential), pipefitting and welding skills, knowledge of production/engineering processes, analytical thinking, prioritization, problem solving, and effective communication at all levels; willingness to work flexible hours when required and to think creatively to improve plant performance.

  • Pipefitting & welding skills
