Job Summary

Senior Mechanical Engineer – Nuclear responsible for mechanical and piping engineering functions within multidisciplinary teams across nuclear and other sectors, ensuring project delivery within the Nuclear Quality Management System, supporting site field visits, preparing and reviewing equipment identification and selection, piping system design (P&ID, hydraulic analysis, material specs, stress analysis), interfacing with vendors and clients, participating in HAZOPs, resolving engineering issues through project lifecycles, and supporting proposals and pursuit plans for nuclear industry opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Approximately 7–10 years of engineering experience
  • Experience with PWR/BWR plants and Generation IV reactors desirable
  • ASME NQA-1 Nuclear Quality Management System experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Eligibility to work on export-controlled projects subject to 10 CFR 810
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) status preferred
