Job Summary
Lead Engineer for CEMS and plant chemistry systems on power plant projects. responsible for engineering, execution, and delivery across the project lifecycle, including system architecture, specifications, supplier management, and site support. Develop core engineering documents (P&IDs, calculation notes, interface documents, technical dossiers), evaluate supplier offers, manage technical interfaces across teams, support tendering and procurement activities, provide commissioning and troubleshooting support, and travel globally for site support. Requires strong collaboration, independent leadership of technical scope, and experience with lab analyses and field deployment of CEMS/plant chemistry packages. Proficiency in Visio/COMOS/AVEVA is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent
- 10+ years of relevant experience in CEMS, plant chemistry, or related power plant systems
- Strong experience in emission monitoring systems, including gas analyzers, instrumentation, and package engineering
- Strong knowledge of plant chemistry systems, including dosing, sampling, water treatment, wastewater treatment, and water/steam cycle chemistry
- Experience developing technical specifications, reviewing supplier documentation, and supporting procurement and execution activities
- Experience in laboratory water analyses like ion chromatography
- Experience in commissioning support and troubleshooting is an advantage
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
